Being a student can be fun but stressful at times, and LGBTQ+ students may have additional concerns, such as figuring out their sexuality and/or gender, telling people their identities, and finding people who they can relate to. This section provides some resources on exploring LGBTQ+ identities and communities.

Stonewall

As well as lots of support and information, Stonewall also have a useful guide on finding an inclusive employer.

MindOut

An LGBTQ+ mental health service, offering advice and information, advocacy, peer support groups, suicide prevention and online support.

SupportU

Specialist resources for those affected by LGBT+ related issues, from employment to coming out. They also have group socials and support groups.

Student Minds

Student Minds provide support and information resources about student mental health. Student Minds understand the difficulties some LGBTQ+ students face at University.

Sexual Orientation OCD

Sexual Orientation OCD is a subset of OCD in which sufferers constantly question their sexuality (it is estimated that 10% of those with OCD have this specific subset), where sufferers can obsess over their sexuality.
